Britain’s Johnson says ‘very good news’ US wants UK trade deal

British foreign minister Boris Johnson on Monday said US President-elect Donald Trump’s offer of a quick trade deal with Britain as it leaves the European Union was very positive news.
“I think it is very good news that the United States wants to do a good free trade deal with us and wants to do it very fast,” Johnson said as he went in to an EU foreign ministers meeting in Brussels.
