Gigaba denies he had an affair with ‘Judy’

Vytjie Mentor wrote about a number of alleged details she said she noticed from her time in parliament.

Over the weekend, former ANC MP Vytjie Mentor alleged that Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba had had an affair with a married woman.

She claimed that Judy, short for Judith, from Johannesburg, joined parliament mid-term during Mentor’s parliament days and was made to sit next to Mentor in the chamber.

“This lady very soon dated Malusi Gigaba,” Mentor alleged.

On Monday, Gigaba’s lawyer, Professor Billy Gundelfinger, told The Citizen that his client denied Mentor’s allegations.

“My client denies that he has ever had an affair with the person referred to in the article as Judy or Judith.”

He said that Gigaba had been humiliated and embarrassed in the general public by the allegations.

Gigaba recently made headlines after his former nyatsi Mkhize shared details on Twitter about their relationship, further slamming his wife, Norma Gigaba.

In a series of tweets, she detailed trips from Durban in a private jet and ended with a warning to Norma to never talk about their affair to avoid more “files” being opened.
