Mentor: I don’t know about the ‘clit’, but when Radebe loves, he really loves

This was not Radebe's first time showing love to his staffers, Mentor says, as he has always been like this towards his colleagues.

Whistleblower and former ANC MP Vytjie Mentor has shared her thoughts on Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe’s alleged sexting with a 29-year-old staffer, begging her to send him pictures of her private parts.

Siyasanga Mbambani, a presidential photographer, alleged she had been receiving SMSes from the 64-year-old struggle veteran since 2014, in which he apparently begged her to do more than just send him a picture of herself fully clothed (which she had).

She later allegedly obliged with a picture of herself in a bubble bath and finally exposing her naked breasts.

“Let me see there,” a later text from him requested, with a clarification telling Mbambani that he was interested in her photographing herself further “down”. She claimed she refused to do so.

In one of the text messages published by The Sunday Times, the minister allegedly wrote: “C.L.I.T is requested,” leaving people assuming he was requesting for the woman to send him a picture of her clitoris.

Though this alleged exchange most saying Radebe was “raunchy”, Mentor has shared a different side to Radebe that we did not know.

She recounted a story from years back when the ANC parliamentary caucus organised a memorial service for an MK veteran, who she refused to name, saying he was very close to Radebe.

She said the two worked together for many years, leaving Radebe devastated by the MK vet’s death.

“Radebe said the following at the end of his very emotional farewell speech: ‘Part of me died with you, go well my better half’,” presumably telling her followers that Radebe has always had close relationships with his colleagues.

“I don’t know about the ‘Clit’, but when Radebe loves, he really loves,” she said.
