Traffic officer dies in crash
The cop's motorbike collided head-on with a vehicle.
Traffic is backed up on the N4 in both directions
A Gauteng traffic officer died in a fatal motorbike accident on Friday morning on the N4 towards Pretoria, Pretoria East Rekord reports.
“Not much information is available as of yet, but we do know that the officer collided with another vehicle, which resulted in his death,” said Busaphi Nxumalo, spokesperson for the Gauteng Traffic Department.

According to another motorist on the scene, another accident occurred on the N4 eastbound towards Watermeyer street.
Traffic is backed up on the N4 in both directions, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
