Unanswered questions surround decomposed body found in Equestria

Police await a report from pathologists with more information on the body found floating in a river in Equestria last month.

More questions remain unanswered as police await the results of a postmortem on a decomposed body found in Equestria in Pretoria East, reports the Pretoria East Rekord.

A resident found the body floating in a river near Ouklip Muur Avenue at about 3pm on December 12 last year.

Police spokesperson Captain Jan Sepato said due to the body’s state, neither gender nor race could be established.

He said the clothes on the body seemed to be a blue shirt and jeans.

“We are still awaiting a report from pathologists with more information on the body.”

He said the police were appealing to residents in the area who may have a family member missing to contact Detective Constable Elizabeth Mguni on 012-845-4000.
