Newly elected taxi boss shot dead in KZN

The man was shot multiple times with an AK-47, medical services said.


Dolphin Coast taxi association chairperson Robert Stephen was shot and killed in Etete, KwaZulu-Natal.

The man was shot on Monday night in what is believed to have been an assassination.

Stephen, who was known as Zitty, was recently appointed as the chairperson of the association, North Coast Courier reported.

 According to Paul Herbst from IPSS Medical Rescue, paramedics declared him dead just before 8pm.“He was shot multiple times with an AK-47,” said Herbst.
