Three bodies with gunshot wounds found in Boksburg

The half-naked bodies had multiple gunshot and stab wounds.


Police are investigating cases of murder after three bodies of men, believed to be in their 30s, were found in Boksburg, on the East Rand.

The half-naked bodies had multiple gunshot and stab wounds, Boksburg Advertiser reported.

They were found in the open veld near Commissioner Street, next to the newly established informal settlement located opposite Delmore Gardens.

A security officer who was patrolling the area called the police after stumbling upon the bodies lying about two metres away from each other in the open space.

Police believe the men were killed somewhere and then dumped in the open veld during the wee hours of Saturday.

Two of the men have not yet been identified, but the third body has been identified as that of a Windmill Park man, who was working as a driver transporting schoolchildren.

Cases of murder were registered and investigations continue.

No arrests had been made so far.

No other information has been released about the trio at this point.
