Our Perfect Wedding gets new host

Safta award-winning presenter Thembisa Mdoda will sadly take a break from Our Perfect Wedding, and a new presenter will be taking over.

Popularly known as MaMnisi on Isibaya and Slenda in local female prison drama, Lockdown, Nomsa Buthelezi will be taking over as as the host of the popular Mzansi Magic reality show over 13 weeks from May.

“I’m excited and nervous at the same time. This is a big challenge and a huge responsibility because South Africa is very passionate and opinionated about OPW. I hope to win them over.

“I’m looking forward to hearing couples recount their stories and being able to walk with them in the final leg of their path to marriage. Love is such a beautiful thing!” Buthelezi said.

Our Perfect Wedding is perhaps one of the most difficult show to present in Mzansi, having the most vocal viewers on social media. If a presenter does not appeal to the viewers, they will not stop talking about it until the channel does something about it.
