What’s the most watched videos of all time?

IF a picture speaks a thousand words, then what is the worth of moving pictures?

The fourth industrial revolution has seen online video content evolving into a force to be reckoned with.

Proof of this is the fact that in February 2017 more than 400 hours of content uploaded to YouTube each minute. A billion hours of content are being viewed on YouTube every day and as of last month, the website is ranked as the second most popular site in the world (Google being the first) by Alexa Internet, a web traffic analysis company.

Directors, producers, videographers and even some bloggers have the advantage of being able to monitor their content and instantly establish how many people have viewed their videos.

So it begs the question… what are some of the most viewed videos on the internet?

Well, considering that YouTube is the leading source of online video content – videos on Instagram and Facebook don’t even come close to the views reached on YouTube – here’s a list of the top ten videos of all time:
