These fraudsters are requesting a costly, upfront payment before the fraudulent ‘recruitment’ process can be finalised.

Scammers are engaging with individuals face-to-face, telephonically and through various unofficial email platforms and website domains that are in no way affiliated to Illovo Sugar South Africa, nor to its holding company, Illovo Sugar Africa.

Be wary of job offers

The company urges members of the public to be wary of any potential offers of employment, particularly those that involve monetary transactions or fees.

Illovo Sugar would never ask for, nor collect, any cash payments associated with our employment or recruitment processes.

If unsure if an employment opportunity is legitimate, please contact Illovo Sugar directly on email abc@illovo.co.za.
