SIZZLING edutainment is on the cards when local beauties will spread the love at the annual Miss Valentine 2018 pageant at the Hlanganani Community Hall in eSikhaleni on Saturday, 10 February.
This community initiative for young girls is spearheaded by local beauty and motivational speaker Nolwazi Zuma of Lwazi Style and SML Models.
The aim of the pageant is to promote self-confidence, beauty and the self-pride among young girls.
According to Nolwazi, the special event also aims to educate young girls about the dangers of alcohol, drugs and teenage pregnancies.
‘This is not just a beauty contest, but also a platform for us to unite and tackle issues such as unsafe sex which can lead to teenage pregnancies. We also want to promote pride, that’s why this year we have added a plus sized category for all those models who find themselves left out because of their size,’ said Nolwazi.
