IT was all about top notch lyrical content when hip hop emcees battled it out during the Social Experiment at the eSikhaleni swimming pools on Friday.
Organised by local youth, the event featured national artists such as OkMalumKoolKat as well as a rage of local stars such as Leo Greens and Acid Mill, just to name a few.
Apart from the hip hop content on stage, fans were entertained by the likes of Cthe-K SA, Mjovo Wabantwana and MC Mthandeni Mbambo.
The show not only gave underground Zululand stars a platform, which they have been craving for years, but it kickstarted the festive season and provided a platform for emerging black diamonds to mingle.
