The theatre show was aimed at raising funds for Swazi, who will be jetting off to Florida in the USA next year
THE spirit of life burst into action when Zululand entertainers recently took centre stage at Birdswood in Richards Bay.
Featuring dancer, model, musician and poet Swazi Manana (21) and actor Mthandeni Mbambo, the Night of the Storytellers left the strong audience begging for more.
The duo showcased their talents through various theatre performances such as poetry, drama and dance.

During the show, Swazi interpreted his experience as an entertainer through music, dance and poetry – while Mthandeni delivered various monologues about his life as an actor.
The theatre show was aimed at raising funds for Swazi, who will be jetting off to Florida in the USA next year.
Swazi was selected earliWellington Makwakwa, Zululand Observer, artists, Richards Bay. Mthandeni Mbambo, storyteller, poetry, musicer this year after he outshone hundreds of other hopefuls during national auditions.The event also featured a newly formed Indabuko Zulu Orchestra.
