Zululand actor Mtha excels at Grahamstown Arts Festival production

LOCAL actor, dancer, MC and stage director, Mthandeni Mbambo, recently turned in an unforgettable performance in an international theatre production Daffi Falls at the Grahamstown Arts Festival.

Mthandeni portrayed the role of the late Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi, and received a standing ovation.
Mthandeni is definitely no stranger to theatre and television.

In his overflowing bucket of accomplishments he has worked in many TV and theatre productions, such as the musical Afrika My Home, where he played alongside Mondli Makhoba of Uzalo and Abdul Khoza of the Mzansi Magic telenovela, The Road.

He has also been part of Mbongeni Ngema’s Sarafina, and two Zululand productions, Death of the Emperor Shaka and The Devil’s Autograph.

He has also made an appearance on the Mzansi Magic telenovela Rockville, and is part of the call in cast of the SABC 1 soapie Uzalo.
