Grantleigh College celebrating a milestone in style

Pupils celebrate two decades of Grantleigh in style

OVER 140 Grantleigh College pupils recently took centre stage during the annual Inter-House Play Competition, titled Two Decades of Song, as part of celebrating the college’s 20th birthday.

In action during the Senior Oriole’s performance are Sindi Nkosi and Jarod Waldapfel

Production topics ranged from dealing with the apartheid legacy, peer pressure, saving human lives through social media, and how teenagers from different backgrounds live differently.

Learners started all plays from scratch, went on to audition, decided on cast members and produced the work themselves.

Part of the Senior Trogons are Chloe Davies and Keagan Smith

Grade 12 learners wrote original scripts based on various song lyrics of songs which dominated the charts over the last 20 years.
