Thousands flocked into eMfihlweni for the Umthayi Marula Festival

IT was all about music, traditional beer and tourism during the Umthayi Marula Festival on Saturday.
Thousands flocked to eMfihlweni in eManguzi to join the celebration and enjoy good beer and music from various musicians.

Apart from the music, women of the Tembe clan present a drink brewed from the first harvest of the marula fruit.

These ladies delivered their first produce to Tembe Chief Mabhudu Tembe and other leaders, including KZN MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs Sihle Zikalala.
The festival attracted fans from Swaziland, Mozambique and even the Seychelles..
