FROM water games to other sporting activities and killer entertainment performances, the uMhlathuze Beach Festival was nothing but a blast of fun.
Held at the Alkantstrand Beach in Richards Bay on Sunday, this annual carnival saw thousands of Zululanders and visitors flocking in to enjoy a relaxed, outdoor family day.
Youngsters participated in various sports such as netball and volleyball, while musician entertained the warm crowd.
The entertainment line-up included national star Naima Kay, maskandi giant Cevuzile and a countless number of local artists.
This event was part of promoting local tourism, spearheaded by the City of uMhlathuze, King Cetshwayo District and KZN Department of Arts and Culture.
