IT might not have been a full house as expected; nevertheless, comedy ladies brought their A-game to the area during the First Ladies of Comedy Show at Umfolozi Casino Resort in Empangeni on Saturday.

The hilarious session featured various female comedians including Nina Hastie of Trending SA, former Generations actress Sthandiwe Kgoroge and of course the hilarious Jumaima.

But it was not only about comedy, the lovely TV personality Ayanda Mpama showcased a different side of her craft and serenaded the audience with her sweet vibrant voice.

Just before midnight, Durban-based comedienne Thenjiwe brought the house down with her men jokes, while advising women to always stay true to themselves.
