Big blast at the matric dance

It was all about dance, music and delicious food during the Mbuyiseni High School matric farewell

IT was all about music, dance, poetry and unforgettable moments at the Mbuyiseni High School matric farewell and prize-giving ceremony at Kwalugweba Reserve outside KwaDlangezwa on Thursday.

Dressed in full school uniform, matrics sang in great harmony and entertained guests with outstanding performances.

Head of the Languages Department, Zanele Shange, bid farewell to all pupils in an original Mbuyiseni Anthem, while poet Abel Qwabe recited inspiring lines, condemning the killings of people with albinism.

Teachers closed the ceremony with a bang and they celebrated the day in song and dance – singing the school’s traditional song ‘Iyoh Mbuyiseni iyoh’.

After all the formalities and entertainment, it was time for delicious food, followed by magical moments on the dance floor as teachers and pupils celebrate their journey together.
