Not only did they impress the judges and international scouts, but were declared the best among more than 1 500 other hopefuls.

The Zululanders were scouted by Just You Artists to represent South Africa during the Applause Rising Talent Showcase (ARTS).

Their journey started when they impressed national scouts during the Elements of Fashion show in Richards Bay last year.

They were than asked to represent the region and province in Johannesburg and that’s when they were identified by international scouts and requested to attend the ARTS showcase.

Courtney Coetzer (16)
After showcasing her talents in fashion, swimwear, creative and theme fashion categories, as well as television commercials, Courtney was scouted by Major Models and Corestone Models from Canada.

This 1.78 tall model will now work in America during school holidays and hope to move there permanently after finishing matric.

Trelique Modelling and Promotional Agency Managing Director Angelique Wright congratulated all three models, saying that they have now paved a way for others.
