Hiltaterz go traditional

Not only is their focus on music and lyrics, but this gang believes in community work and making a difference, especially among the youth.

BAY hip hop group Hiltaterz will soon go traditional during the recording of their music video titled Wenza ngathi awusizwa in Richards Bay.

The set will include traditional scenes and attire, highlighting their love for culture, tradition and heritage.

The Final Touch Records gang will also be launching their new release track Never stuck.

The two tracks have been receiving massive air play and are part of their mix tape Grinding 44.

‘With this video we want people to know that even though the group sing hip hop, we still value our tradition. Our culture is something to be celebrated ,’ they said.

These hip hop stars have paved a way for themselves in the industry, and recently appeared on several television shows, including YoTV on SABC 1, Sunrise and Morning Live on SABC 2.

They also worked on the Mzansi Magic music show Clash of the Choirs.

They have left a mark on the KZN entertainment scene by nurturing young talent and give to those less fortunate.

Not only is their focus on music and lyrics, but this gang believes in community work and making a difference, especially among the youth.
