Queen eSikhaleni 2016 crowned

The 'queen' of the eSikhaleni crop was crowned at the annual Queen eSikhaleni 2016 pageant on Saturday

MODELS left their hearts on the ramp during the Queen eSikhaleni 2016 pageant at New Hall on Saturday.
Beauty queens impressed the judges in funky street wear and traditional attire under the theme ‘Culture and Heritage’, with Lindelwa Shongwe taking the title of Queen eSikhaleni 2016.
This community event was headed by Miss KwaDube Community 2015/2016 and Miss Ulundi 2015 runner-up, Phethile Mpanza.
‘This pageant was not just about beauty, but an opportunity to empower young girls in my community. I wanted to ensure they understand the important of culture and are proud to be Africans,’ said Phethile.
Before gunning for the tittle, these ‘eKasi hotties’ started with a fashion show at the township’s mall on Friday morning.
