Who will be the next Mrs Zululand?

Mrs Zululand will be crowned on 31 October at a glittering pageant.

THE top ten finalists in the Mrs Zululand pageant have been hard at work in their communities, supporting local charities and community outreaches ahead of the pageant’s crowning ceremony and gala event taking place on 31 October.

Hosted at the Umfolozi Casino Resort, the event starts at 7pm and will see finalists strut down the catwalk and perform the headlining entertainment act.

Pageant founder and host, Celeste Robertson said the show has been choreographed by a professional and finalists will showcase their musical and singing talents.

‘We invite the community to be part of this spectacular night and commend all the finalists for their selfless contributions in society.

‘Even after the crowing, the women will continue supporting our charity of choice, Lungelo Youth Development in Mzingazi as well as their individual charities.

‘The main goal of this pageant is to help the women of Zululand increase their cultural awareness by embracing the beauty of our respective cultures and diversities.

‘By sharing our stories of struggles and success we will use these experiences as a tool to inspire and uplift local women.

‘Our pageant also serves as a platform for our Zululand women to shed light on certain issues they are facing and to provide a stage for women to challenge stereotypes,’ said Robertson.
