Beauty pageant boosts confidence

Zululand models battled for the Miss Zululand Ambassador title.

MODELS in various age groups shared the runway during the third annual Miss Zululand Ambassador 2015 pageant held at the Richards Bay Library Hall on Saturday.

The aim of the prestigious event was to create a platform for young girls to boost their self-esteem and confidence.

Dressed in pencil high heels and fancy evening gowns, models impressed judges with their unique styles.

Contestants were pleasantly surprised my current Miss KZN, Rodee Verburgh, who offered them career advice.

Event organiser, Mrs Zululand Celeste Robertson, said her goal was to get young women involved in community projects.
