THE red carpet will be rolled out for his worship, King Goodwill Zwelithini, the keynote speaker at the Zululand Gopio Diwali Festival opening celebration on Friday evening at the uMhlathuze Regional Sports Complex in Richards Bay.
Marking the ‘festival of lights’ celebrations, the entertainment extravaganza will also showcase one of India’s leading fusion music groups, Soul – Samvaad on Friday.
The two day event is hosted by Zululand Diwali Committee in conjunction with Gopio International, stakeholders and local businesses.
Zululanders can expect an exciting and fun-filled programme on Saturday, showcasing local talent, bangra, showbands, show and shine contest, Miss Diwali, senior citizens serenade, fireworks displays and much more.
