Fast and furious end-to-end action at St Catherine's

THE constant morning drizzle on Saturday failed to put a damper on the stick and ball action taking place at St Catherine’s School, when eleven local primary schools competed in a fun U13 Hockey and Netball Festival.

Girls aged U13 and under competed in 15-minute one-way match-up’s on the day resulting in fast and furious end-to-end action.

The hockey ladies competed on the mini astroturf with seven players and no goal keeper, resulting in a ton of goals.

Schools that competed on the day were – Bluff Club (Durban), Grantham Park Primary School, Felixton College, Heuwelland, Hluhluwe Primary, Richards Bay Christian School, Hluhluwe Privaat Skool, St Catherine’s, Veldenvlei, Empangeni Christian School and Empangeni Preparatory School.
