Hluhluwe takes the Beck Bozas Cup

Old rivals, eShowe and Hluhluwe, in final match-up in Bozas Cup rugby tournament

THERE was a full day of rugby at this year’s Beck Bozas Cup with six First Division and nine Third Division teams participating.

The programme was slightly disrupted with the very late cancellation of Greytown who pulled out at the last minute.

The Bozas Cup was won by Hluhluwe after a grinding final against hosts eShowe, which was decided with a sudden death penalty in extra time after the teams were 5-5 at full time.

The First Division was also decided in extra time with Drakensberg defeating Ballito 1st team with an unconverted try in extra time.
