Richards Bay coaches ready for rugger action

Richards Bay rugby club gets welcome boost from Unizulu

PRE-SEASON training has already started in earnest as the Richards Bay Rugby Club gets ready to make inroads in the KZN Premier League, Premier Reserve League and Durban U20 League.

Coaches and managers have been appointed and trials are scheduled for Saturday, 17 February.

The club will also benefit during the season when it comes to injury rehabilitation, thanks to an arrangement with the University of Zululand’s Department of Human Movement Science.

Biokineticist Gerrit Breukelman will, together with his students, assess players’ injuries and assist their recovery, at no cost – a huge benefit given the nature of the contact sport.
