NRB progress in Nedbank Cup competition

Last-32 draw on Monday evening

AFTER a 2-1 win over Witbank Spurs in the preliminary round played on 13 December, Richards Bay FC are in the draw for the last 32 of the 2017/18 Nedbank Cup competition.

The draw will be televised live on SuperSport4 at 7.30pm on Monday night from Sandton.

NRB head coach Jean Losciuto will make the trip to Gauteng, joining the 16 automatically qualified Absa Premiership clubs, eight NFD clubs and eight from SAFA structures.

Also through to the draw from the NFD are Stellenbosch – NRB’s opponents this Saturday and log leaders Highlands Park who they tackle the following weekend, Cape Town All Stars, Mthatha Bucks, Super Eagles, Royal Eagles and Ubuntu Cape Town.

Whoever they may face in the last 32 round, Richards Bay will face them with confidence.

They beat Spurs 2-1 to enter the competition proper and have won their last two league matches with identical scorelines.

They are on a roll and keen to take on all-comers.
