A CLOSE group of friends gathered at the Felixton Country Club to compete in their second annual SPCA golf day on Saturday.

The group collected a bakkie load of pet food last year for the Richards Bay SPCA, and decided this year to do a collection for the Empangeni SPCA.

The group took to the nine hole mashy course following an IPS format, with three holes having ‘surprises’ waiting for them.

One had to tee off with a hockey stick at the one hole, tee off from a cone on another and use a pool cue to putt on the last hole.
