Riders raise bucks for conservation

Cycling 55km in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park for conservation funds

RIDERS were full of praise for the organisation of the Old Mutual Wild Series iMfolozi Challenge held on Saturday.
The event is not really a race, but more of a ride through stunning countryside not normally open to the public.

The 55km route saw riders leave the Cengeni Gate area at 8am and finish at the Centenary Centre in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park.

A broken arm did not deter Adon Sinclair from competing

She was followed by Jill Lynch (3:32), with Zalene Muller in 3:49 making up the podium.

The ride was limited to 350 riders, of whom 322 finished, with the last rider arriving at the Centenary Centre in a time of 8:13.
