Crusaders slay uThungulu in Durban

RH CONSTRUCTION uThungulu will have to head back to the drawing board this week after suffering a six wicket defeat to Crusaders in a Castle Premier League match played at Crusaders, Durban on Sunday.

The squad will have to sharpen up their game before hosting Topham on Sunday at Addison Park.

uThungulu padded up first and were dismissed for 117 in 45 overs. Simon Savides top scored with 31 and was supported by Jason Redinger with 24.

Crusaders wasted no time to chase down the required total, reaching 118/4 in the 26th over.

Left-arm orthodox spinner Stephan Joubert was the pick of the uThungulu attack with figures of 3/26 in 8.2.
