ESHOWE opening batsmen Mike Abraham (46) and Garry Park (60) put on 106 runs between them, ensuring a 38-run victory against Richards Bay in their T20 cricket match on Saturday.
Batting first, eShowe posted 149 runs for the loss of four wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Freedom Buthelezi was the pick of the Richards Bay bowlers, taking two wickets for 13 runs in his four overs.
Set a target of 7.5 runs an over, Richards Bay fought back bravely, but eventually ran out of overs with their total on 111 for five wickets.
eShowe bowlers Brian Carpenter, Angus Cramer and Mike Abraham took one wicket each, with the fourth wicket being a run out of Jason Redlinger on 26 runs.
