Bozas Cup opens rugby season
Rugby clubs are invited to enter their Third Division teams to participate in the competition
PLANNING is at an advanced stage for the 2017 Bozas Cup to be played on Saturday, 18 March at the eShowe Sports Club .
Rugby clubs are invited to enter their Third Division teams to participate in the competition, which has been a season opener for 70 years.
This year’s tournament will be the 71st competition. Defending champs, Sentraal from Dundee, are sure to be back, as will the Bezuidenhout Plate winners eSikhaleni.
eSikhaleni won the Bozas Cup in 2015 and will be determined to regain the trophy this year.
While the Bozas Cup is played on the main field, the juniors will once again have their own tournament under the leadership of Rob van Tooren.
Catering will be provided by Sunset Rock Spur and drinks will be available from the eShowe Sports Pub.
