LOCAL darts teams utilised the festive season to unwind and sharpen their skills ahead of the new Empangeni Social Darts League that starts on Wednesday, 25 January.
Currently eight teams have signed up for the new season – Umoya, Impis, Empangeni Rugby Club, Rhinos, Undertakers, Aces, Fernandos and Hullets.
Any other teams interested in signing up for the league have until Monday, 23 January to register and can contact Willie van Rooyen on 061 5359454.
Friendlies start next Wednesday, with teams playing cricket, 501 and nomination killer games.
There will be a captain’s meeting tonight (Thursday) at the Empangeni Rugby Club at 6pm.
