HEUWELLAND Primary School’s Bivash Harichand Ramchuran is the Supersport Let’s Play winner for October.
The passionate and vibrant seven-year-old had a great introduction to various sporting codes this season in his first year of ‘big school’ (Grade 1).
He captained the unbeaten U7A mini cricket team, played U7A rugby, participated in all swimming styles in the school’s inter-house gala, won the boys U7 long jump and 80m sprint events at the inter-house athletics day and was part of the U7 soccer squad.
The enthusiastic little man is not only an A student, but also a talented modern dancer.
He trains twice a week for two hours a session in different sporting codes outside of schooling hours.
When not acing it in the classroom or working hard to improve his sport skills, Bivash can be found fishing, dancing, cycling or skateboarding.
‘I am super excited about next year in terms of sport.
I cannot wait for the opportunity to take my sport more seriously and have the chance to compete for selection in the various Zululand sides.
