RH CONSTRUCTION uThungulu will get their 2016/17 cricket season underway with a double header on Sunday at Addison Park.
The local outfit will take on UKZN (9am) and Delta (1.30pm) in the first round of the Premier League T20 competition.
‘We are looking forward to the new season, and have a talented squad. There are a number of new players that have entered the fold and players that produced great form last year.
‘With this combination we will aim to win the Premier League this year,’ said uThungulu manager Fuzzy van Aswegen.
The team for Sunday’s double header – Eugene Zwart (captain), Gary Park, Stephan Joubert, Ashley Lowbard, Simon Savides, Ruan van Rensburg, Daryll Hattingh, Dale van der Merwe, Chad Neuhoff, Neil Jordan, and Freedom Buthelezi.
Reserves – Lazar Holmes and Mark Shorkend.
