THERE was a good turnout at this year’s Bully Drew memorial cricket game played at Addison Park on Saturday.
The day’s festivities – in memory of all deceased members, players and spectators – started off with a plague unveiling in memory of David Addison.
Patch Addison said a few words before unveiling the plague which was organised by Paul Gouge.
The Cane Rats team batted first and reached 150 runs.
Peter Johnson, Peter Harvey and Macko Addison all retired after reaching 30.
Bully Drew fell short of the required total, being dismissed for 110.
Patch Addison picked up the batting award, with Andrew Lund bagging the bowling award.
Young Connor Lendrum was named the top fielder of the day.
