LOCAL athletes and sporting families are encouraged to sign up for the Shaka Family Challenge at the Zululand Kayak Club (ZKC) on Saturday.
The event is presented by the ZKC in conjuction with the Nashua Richards Bay Athletics Club and Zululand Cycling Club.
Four disciplines are completed – a 10km trail run (7am at R30), a 10km mountain bike ride (9am at R20), a 22km canoe race (11am at R120) and a 10km or 3km Sup Board race (12pm at R50/R20).
Participants do not have to belong to a club or have a licence to participate.
There are great lucky draw prizes to be won.
Registeration starts from 6am at the ZKC.
