eShowe take Brockwell Cup
eShowe won the game by scoring six tries to Mtubatuba's four tries.
IT was a try fest on Friday night at Mick Kelly Park in Empangeni when the Brockwell Cup final was played between eShowe and Mtubatuba.
eShowe won the game by scoring six tries (including a penalty try) to Mtubatuba’s four tries.
In the first half, eShowe ran in two tries and were awarded a penalty try, which were all converted, giving them a 21-0 lead at the break.
Mtubatuba came back strongly in the second half, scoring four tries, none of which were converted.
eShowe added to their first half tally with another three tries, of which one was converted.
The game ended with eShowe winning with 38-20.
