RICHARDS Bay scored a try just over every four minutes against Durban Mets in their Fidelity Security First Division match played in Richards Bay on Saturday, which resulted in a 113-0 victory.

The local outfit ran in nine tries in the first half to take a 55-0 lead going into the break.

Trevor Montgomery’s men planned on reaching the one ton mark leading into the game after beating the side 80-7 in Durban in round one.

Frank Hughes (2), Ivan Labuschagne, JB Heunis (2) , Devon Muller, Dwayne Paul, Jimmy Enslin and Vitalis Simelane all dotted down in the first half, with JP Rossouw kicking five conversions.

The Bay warriors played a structured loose game which saw many off-loads in contact, pin-point passing, clean ball at the breakdowns and slick handling which aided their first half performance.

Simelane (3), Hughes (2), Muller, Enslin, Deon van den Berg, Heunis and Ruben Linde added more tries in the second half, with Rossouw kicking four conversions.
