SWIMMERS of the Fish Eagles, uShaka Swimming Club, Vryheid and Pongola competed in the uThungulu age group gala hosted by uThungulu Aquatics at the Arboretum swimming pool on Saturday.
With Levels 1, 2 and 3 trials starting at the end of March, swimmers pushed themselves in order to qualify.
‘We are seeing swimmers improving their times at every local gala, which is great news for swimming in our area,’ said Fish Eagles coach Sonja van Ryswyk.
