Cycling for Project Rhino KZN

Verwey and Benade team up for Porject Rhino KZN.

ZULULAND’S 2013 Cape Epic team of Desiree Verwey and Joyce Benade have teamed up yet again for another gruelling cycle challenge, all in the aim of raising funds for Project Rhino KZN.

The duo who was crowned Mudder and Daudder in the Cape, will cycle 340km on 12 December to raise awareness and funds for the project.

The team will cycle from Hillcrest to Hilltop in Hluhluwe Game Reserve in one day.

Caltex John Ross Empangeni showed their support on Thursday afternoon by donating R1 000 towards the ride.

‘We challenge all local businesses to match or better our donation towards such a great cause,’ said owner and manager, Wade French.

Anyone interested in donating money towards this ride for Project Rhino KZN can contact Verwey on 072 2433817 or Benade on 072 1583252.
