Thanda Royal Zulu disappoint fans

THANDA Royal Zulu FC continued to make heavy weather of what, on paper, should be easy fixtures when they went down 2-0 away to Free State outfit African Warriors on Saturday.

The Amabhubesi have a disturbing record against teams below them on the log, either drawing or losing when form and ability suggest they should romp home.

Conversely, they stick it to teams at the sharp end of the log – perhaps subconsciously raising their game against better opposition.

With no NFD games being played this week, their next match will be against FC Cape Town at the uMhlathuze Stadium on 21 November.

It should be a walk in the park…but the Cape side is second last on the log….
