Hume sets sights on Roof of Africa
Calvin Hume claims second spot finish in X Country Series in 250 class.
LOCAL X Country rider Calvin Hume cemented a silver medal place finish in the 2015 X Country series after placing second in the last round held in Matatiele over the weekend.
Riders from all over the country competed on a technical 28km track set out in the surrounding mountains, which tested the riders’ skills.
Hume, who competed in the 85cc Senior Class last year, stepped it up this season by competing in the 250 class.
Now that the racing season is finally done and dusted, his sights and focus shifts to the Roof Of Africa in Lesotho in December.
