Justine into 200m semis at world champs
Lcoal sprinting ace through to World Champs semi finals
JUSTINE Palframan qualified for the semi-finals of the women’s 200m at the International Athletics Federation World Championships in Beijing, China on Wednesday afternoon.
Running in the second heat, Justine finished third in a time of 23.09 seconds.
First in her heat was Marie-Josee Ta Lou of Ivory Coast who finished in a personal best time of 22.73 seconds and second was American Jenna Prandini in a time of 22.95 seconds.
She will now line-up in the third heat of semi-final against Maria Belimpasaki (Greece), Veronica Campbell-Brown (Jamaica), Dina Asher-Smith (Great Britain), Jeneba Tarmoh (USA), Gloria Hooper (Italy), Kimberly Hyacinthe (Canada) and Rosângela Santos (Brazil) today (Thursday) at 1.35pm.
