Sharks XV call-up for Rhinos captain

Dannhauser and Rodriques included in Sharks XV training squad.

RHINOS rugby captain Jors Dannhauser has been included in the Sharks XV’s 32-man training squad that will compete in a national tournament in Kimberley from 13 to 18 September.

‘This is great news and an awesome reward for me after having had a struggling season at the Rhinos. It’s nice to be rewarded for all the hard work I put in this season.

‘At least the selectors are looking at the smaller clubs and hopefully this will motivate others to put their hands up for selection,’ said Dannhauser.

The squad is mainly made up of College Rovers and Durban Collegians players, the top two clubs dominating in the Castle Premier League this season.

Former Richards Bay first team player José Rodriques, who is currently playing his first season in the Castle Premier League for Amanzimtoti, has also been included.

The squad will start training twice a week from 3 August in Durban.
