eShowe take three points in Stewart Shield

eShowe remain unbeaten in Stewart Shield rugby.

AFTER leading at half time in their Stewart Shield rugby match against eShowe on Friday night, Mtubatuba ran out of steam and eventually lost the game 38-14.

In the first half Mtubatuba’s Freddie Snyman scored two tries, both converted by Christo Pelser, while eShowe managed keep the score board ticking with tries by Silvester le Roux and Nick Raymond.

Bo Lester converted the first try, making the score 14-12 to Mtuba going into the break.

eShowe put on the pressure in the second half and everything went eShowe’s way with them running in four tries by Phakema Biyela, Lourens Wahl, Siphelele Mabuza and Silvester le Roux.

Gladwell Maduna was successful with three conversions.
