Provincially, Lungile was selected for the KZN Schools U19 netball team and was the vice-captain.

She was a member of the KZN Wildeklawer invitational netball team.

As a soccer player she was a member of the KZN U18 team.

She also qualified for KZN athletics for the 400m and long jump events.

None of these achievements affected her involvement at school level where she was named the most outstanding athlete of the year and the best senior netball player.

She was a member of the eShowe High School first cricket team and was captain of the first netball team.

She was honoured by the school with half-colours for cricket and honours for netball and soccer.
