The Zini Walk/Run got off to a quiet start on Sunday morning as the participants looked forward to enjoying Mtunzini’s natural wonders of bush and sea.
They left the Mtunzini Ski-boat Club and were soon winding through the uMlalazi Nature Reserve and onto the beach.
The 16km runners ran north to the uMlalazi River mouth before running down to the Mtunzini Chalets and back to the Ski-Boat Club.
Once on the beach, the walkers turned south and followed the same route as the runners.
